#DiscoverHartford Days

Tomorrow is #DiscoverHartford Days! It's actually been going on all week. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, we thought we would join in the fun. Except I haven't gotten all the kinks worked out so it could get interesting.

Because the roads to the Sanctuary are not the greatest and we dont' want people on gravel that arent' used to being on gravel, we thought we'd head in to Hartford and see what all the commotion is about. The best part, we'd have Chaos in tow. My introverted-ness is getting the better of me so we'll see how it goes.

We've been running non-stop this month for all things non-horse related and I'm starting to get burned out. The weather is not cooperating for us to get anything done at the Sanctuary. At this point, we aren't going to get some stuff done because by the time everything dries out, it'll be too late. I'm going to have to sit down with a calendar and figure out all the things that HAVE to get done before the snow flies this winter. Hard to think next winter when this winter seems to keep holding on. We had snow on Wednesday! May 8th and we had snow! Crazy times we are living in.

I haven't been too chatty lately because I can't seem to get my mind in gear. There's too much going on and not all of it is with the Sanctuary. There's so much I'd like to be doing but my focus keeps getting dragged away with other stuff. So if anyone wants to help around the Sanctuary, and you don't even have to BE HERE! I just need someone to keep me motivated and moving forward instead of getting stalled out like I am right now.

I'm hoping tomorrow's #DiscoverHartford Days will be fun. We are planning on being in Hartford around 10am and we'll wander the streets (although we may need to haul Chaos to different businesses for safety reasons). But if you see a big black horse wandering around Hartford, that'll be Chaos. Stop over and say hi!

The best part, if you take a picture with Chaos (and make it public and us the #DiscoverHartford), you'll be entered to win some amazing prizes that the Hartford Chamber of Commerce are giving away. We are hoping to stop at a few businesses just so we can get our name into the drawings as well! I'm not sure how long we'll be wandering the streets but check us out on Facebook so you can see where we are at to meet up with us.

Should be fun. Lets hope the weather holds.
